The FBI has reassured supporters of the Saudi Arabian government that any packages arriving containing ‘suspicious green and white substace’ were simply money for their continued support of the regime —and not anything to worry about.
A spokesperson said: ‘Reported recipients of these parcels include Jared Kushner and Tony Blair. We would like to reassure them and others that there is no need to call the police —we are only investigating Russian interference in Western democracies, not those from our Saudi Allies’.
President Trump also issued a statement: ‘I blame the media for spreading all these lies about Saudi Arabia, dividing the country and provoking someone to send large amounts of money to prominent people. We cannot confirm that we have received any at Trump Tower or any of the Trump golf courses, but we have people on hand ready to look out for such packages and safely dispose of them without involving the FBI or IRS’.
